ICT business tools as infrastructure for working people

NEOJAPAN has developed groupware and other business communication tools for more than 30 years since its founding in 1992. Our main product, the desknet’s NEO groupware platform, is used by more than 5.28 million users* in businesses and organizations of all sizes active across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, health and welfare, construction, services, education, and national and local government.

In the public sector, it has been adopted by more than 1,100 government agencies and local governments as of the end of June 2023. The governments of 18 of Japan’s 47 prefectures have adopted desknet’s NEO.
With the full-scale rollout of Japan’s social security and tax ID system—the so-called My Number in Japanese—underway, local governments need more secure network environments. At the same time, among its national growth strategies, the Japanese government is promoting workstyle reforms. Groupware plays a role in providing solutions for the need both for workstyle reforms and more robust security.
